Around 400 Baguio residents trooped to the streets caling for Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo's resignation because of the controversial Garci tapes and the alleged involvement of the First Family in jueteng, an illegal numbers game. Furthermore, the protesters also cited the economic programs, militarization of the Cordillera, and the bias of GMA's adminstration in the ongoing labor dispute in Lepanto mines as basis for her resignation.
