Indignation Rally (March 11, 2005)

JUSTICE FOR ROMY SANCHEZ. An Indignation Rally was held by militant groups in Baguio City last March 11 regarding the assassination of BAYAN-Ilocos secretary general and BAYAN MUNA-Ilocos coordinator Romy Sanchez last March 9 at the Baguio City Public Market. The protesters condemned the administration of Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo for its inaction to the rising harassment cases and killings of leaders and members of progressive groups. Candle-lighting for a fallen leader

Tribute to a people's martyr

Parangal sa martir ng sambayanan (Tribute to a people's martyr). After the indignation rally last March 11, friends and activists in Baguio City pay their respects to Romy Sanchez as his remains will be transfered to Sanchez's hometown of San Fernando, La Union.
