STONE BATNAG
More than the water in this ocean we see
Raindrops were tears of laughter and glee
Trying to nurture the seed in me
Songs it brought with pleasant harmony.
Blue over gray was mind in flight
Every dream I had were in blankets of night
The air blew rapid with the breeze of fright
But this living ocean showed a spectrum of light.
In amazement was I as it showed me the beauty
Brightness of stars then guided my journey
The horizons I see haven’t been my limit
They pulled my anchor and moved my feet.
Extending my horizons day after day
Answering the questions I once had in mind
My skies were cleared as dark clouds gave way
I am much grateful like horizons I find.
They always gave me ways to fulfill my dreams
Providing me power, easing my pains
They have cleared off my mind and watered my streams
Paying them back counts in my aims.
