Down the rabbit hole

Down the Rabbit Hole, by Peter Abrahams, is a tale of a girl who uncovers a mysterious murder and saves her hometown from a cold blooded killer.

Thirteen-year-old Ingrid Levine-Hill ends up in Cracked-up Katie’s house, after losing her way to a soccer practice. However, Ingrid learns more about her; that she has a connection with the theatre group the Prescott Players, which Ingrid takes part in. Ingrid thinks it was just a coincidence, until Cracked-up Katie is murdered, just a few days after her visit. Worse, Ingrid remembers that she left her soccer cleats at Cracked-up Katie’s house, and the police are starting to become suspicious of her. She makes a frantic investigation about the murder, and discovers spine-tingling facts about the murder victim which are unbelievably connected with Ingrid’s life. # Gaea Claver for NORDIS
