Ad Congress offers new perspectives

The 21st Advertising Congress could not have chosen a better theme than ‘Perspectives : Ano sa Tingin Mo?’

As advertisers—as does the rest of the world—cope with the global economic crisis, it is high time to find solutions to confront these challenging business environments.

With ‘Perspectives’, delegates will be encouraged to find ways and means of survival. New and exciting creative marketing solutions will be the order of the day. It is aimed at bringing, yes, a whole new perspective to any given situation, thereby arming the delegates with fresher insights.

‘Perspectives’ encourages everyone to look at everything in multi-dimension, to change one’s linear view of the issues to discover inventive approaches and ingenious resolutions.

The Ad Congress will offer relevant information about the entire marketing discipline through inspiring speakers and the grandest exhibition ever. This year’s keynote speaker is Fernando Zobel de Ayala.

These learnings will be put to the test via plenary sessions at the CAP Convention Center. Breakout groups will happen at the Baguio Country Club’s Training Center, Ballroom, and Camp John Hay Main Hall.

There is more in store, of course. Participants will get to enjoy Baguio’s accessible location, comfortable accommodations, numerous meal options, fabulous parties, and sport events.

The Ad Con will be capped off by the 21st Araw Awards where the winners will be judged not just by creative excellence but also by marketing effectiveness.
